Suspect Sought in Assault

Police are looking for a male who assaulted another male after a dispute over their dogs.

On Friday, November 17, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m., an unknown male walked his German Shepherd near the victim’s property in the area of Wilson Road South and Dieppe Avenue, in Oshawa.  The victim had his dog outside and requested the suspect male keep their dog off his property.  The suspect and the victim engaged in a verbal altercation before the suspect assaulted the victim.  The suspect fled the area with his dog. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 25-35 years-old, medium build, with dark coloured hair in an afro, and facial hair.  He was wearing a black hat, dark coloured shirt, and dark pants.
